After the English camp

Christ Community Church from St. Charles IL helped us with the family camp again this year. I was super glad that the CCC team could stay for a bit longer AFTER the camp. As you can see we stole Milt and Sharon Feryance and Mike Fay and went to Cesky Krumlov (UNESCO rated town close to Pisek). My Dad came too :)
The most beautiful thing was to stay till the dusk and see this medieval town in the light of the moon, fires and candles in front of these cute little restaurants and the castle on the huge rock above the river. What a romantic experience!

English family camp 2007

God prepared a surprise for me at the camp. At first I wasn´t supposed to go there but a week before the camp it seemed that I could make it. The team didn´t have enough people to take care for the little kids and that became a challenge for me. I love little kids a lot. So, I went to the camp this year and I was given the responsibility to teach a small group of three to five years olds.
We enjoyed our time together a lot, doing different activities and also learning some English. But the greatest surprise for me was the fact that the kids wanted to talk about Lord Jesus every day. Half of them were not from Christian families and these were the kids who wanted to hear more and more stories about Jesus. We talked about sin, about Christ´s sacrifice for us, about His ressurection and opening the way the God the Father. Every day, it was at least one hour of this talk and also prayer.
It was as if God opened the gates of heaven for one week and this small group of kids and I could touch His work among the youngest ones...

Dear friends visited us!

In the beginning of the summer the Bulawa family came to the Czech Republic again! What a wonderful and joyful thing! We enjoyed much together: the royal castle Karlstejn, Prag, Hluboka castle and a concert of classical music there, one day trip by train to Germany - Regensburg town which is 1500 years old!, soccer matches at the outreach soccer camps, youth English camp, dinner prepared by my Dad, Sumava Mountains, mushroom hunting, and much more...

Mushroom hunting with the Bulawas, my Mum and her husband. It was the first time for our American friends!

Germany - Regensburg town. I was there for the first time in my life. My Dad suggested this trip and I believe nobody regreted.

Trained in coaching

During the whole last school year I have been participating in the extensive training in coaching individuals and teams in Prag. It was 108 hours of practice under supervision and additional hours of practicing at home with those who were willing to let me learn on them :)
